How do we fit in with your organization?

Our experience with international development work has taught us that flexibility is incredibly important. However, it can be difficult to stay flexible if you’re only in your target community a few weeks or months a year. We also know that challenges can come up unexpectedly, which can lead to costly delays unless you’ve got an experienced team member on site to make sure your project is running smoothly. That’s where we come in.

Our goal is to meet those challenges you’ll face with your team, and tailor our services to help you accomplish your nonprofit objectives. We’ll bring professionals from various fields of development together for your project so that you’ll get an experienced take on your mission and goals. That often means one of our team members traveling to your international site to help you overcome any obstacles you’re facing. One great thing about IDP is that we have an in house video production team that can produce professional film content for your fundraising goals. They can help you build your website, or assist you with social media & marketing questions that will be important in your outreach to donors and volunteers. You’ll also get the added benefit of our trusted network of nonprofit directors in your field that can help you with specific challenges in your target country.

We’re here to help with the leg work of international development and fill the gaps that come up along the way. If you need to raise capital, need to find a project manager to oversee an aspect of your program, or just need an assistant as you travel internationally - we’re here for whatever it takes to make your idea successful!

We’ve seen development projects save lives, and we’ve also seen critical care arrive in disaster regions a little too late. Our goal is to prevent as many ‘almost’ scenarios as we can, and make sure that the goals we share as educators, medical professionals, faith based communities, humanitarians, and change makers get met as efficiently as possible. We want to help good projects grow, and we want to improve practices with the lessons we’ve learned from decades of development experience all over the world. Your goal is OUR goal, too!

About Our Team

Since 2009, our Director has worked with hundreds of nonprofits across 4 continents. Those projects range from a focus on refugee medical support in Jordan to women’s agricultural programs in Rwanda to special needs education development in Sierra Leone. Initially, International Development Partners was Big Picture Media, which focused on storytelling and fundraising for nonprofits through video production. Many of the clients from our filmmaking projects make up the network of nonprofit directors who help advise our project managers today. Each project is unique, and we bring together our contacts from 14 years of development work to assist your team at any stage of your project.
