International Medical Teams

Medical Relief & Aid Work

Our nonprofit filmmaking began in 2012, during the early years of the war in Syria. We covered a small medical team made up of a few Syrian American brothers (and physicians) and saw them grow into a critical resource for Syrian refugees in need. They have a huge logistics undertaking for the 150+ international volunteers that now work with their medical missions. This kind of project takes an incredible amount of planning, and we are here to share what we’ve learned with your team! The truth is… it takes more than good will to run an international medical relief agency. We’ve got the experience to help your project meet its goals!

 International Medical Relief Aid

Organizing volunteers, hiring translators, drivers, and security, and navigating the laws regarding medical practice in each country is a job in itself. We are here to sort out all the logistics challenges and immigration troubles your group may encounter. We also have resources and contacts in over a dozen countries that can help with your project. There are very sensitive issues to consider when working with vulnerable populations. Some may seem trivial to an outsider, but it may be the trust building custom that makes or breaks your project. We won’t let you make those mistakes, and we’ll help you make choices that will establish a positive presence in your target community. Medical programs are the most effective when they are consistent. Our team can help you fill any gaps so that your international medical project doesn’t miss the changing need on the ground. We can help you determine what an equitable distribution of your resources looks like, manage any issues that arise while you’re away, and give you peace of mind that your project is on the right track to have a sustainable impact!

Need help with an international medical nonprofit? Here are a few ways we can deliver for your team.

    Organize Volunteers On Site

You’ve got work to do when you’re overseas, and although volunteers might be a big part of your program, arranging logistics for a large team can eat into time that your project recipients need. We can arrive on site early to ensure a smooth arrival, and anticipate any challenges so that none of your work goes unfinished.

  • Nonprofit Project Management. International Medical Mission. Medical Mission. Medical Volunteer. Nonprofit Assistance

    Medical Equipment Procurement

The biggest equipment need we see in international medical relief work is medical gloves - and we’ve seen surgeons working with one hand in scenarios where resources are slim. Your volunteers might not have that skill, so we can make sure you’ve got the gear you need to avoid delays over missing equipment.

    Understanding Basic Needs

We’ve worked on more than a dozen international medical sites. At times with refugees, other times with victims of natural disasters. We know what it takes to pull off a medical mission, and we know these teams need a reliable, experienced staff member that can get things done in a stressful environment. That’s us!

Orphanage For Displaced Syrians In Jordan

One of the projects we’ve worked with recently is an orphanage located in Amman, Jordan. Our friend Salah operates the site, which houses children who have lost parents due to the war in Syria. Our team has followed this project for several years, and we’ve seen the impact it’s had in the neighborhood, and with the displaced populations living in Amman. Salah provides housing, but also medical care and education costs for the residents. Find out more in the video ———> This interview is in Arabic.
